Travelling by Train

Recently, news has surfaced about train travel and the potential it brings. 
Was so excited to hear that! Am thoroughly surprised that railway has gotten recognition - all this while it has been a forgotten mode of transport regarded as a relic of the past.

 

Its coming back again - only now for the nostalgia and romantic experience. Cool!
Am looking forward to more hype as this creates a new area for expansion of interest and enthusiasm for trains. Check out Bernama's website on "Seeing The World In A Train" dated March 11, 2010 news.


Malaysia will be hosting a Railway Tourism Conference from 5th to 8th December, 2010 @ Berjaya Times Square. The organising Committee Chairman for the conference is Rear Admiral (R) Datuk Danyal Balagopal Abdullah.
